School Supplies
The following are a list of school supplies each student needs on the first day of school. Teachers may have additional supply needs at the start of school or throughout the year.
Required supplies for all students:
- backpack
- #2 pencils (mechanical or traditional)
- pens (blue, black, red)
- college-ruled composition notebooks (several to start the year)
- graphing composition notebook
- headphones/earbuds
Requested for community use: (If you are able to contribute, please drop these items at the Main Office.) We are not picky about the brand!
- 2 – reams white copy paper
- 2 – boxes Kleenex type tissue
- 3 – boxes of #2 pencils
- 1 – pack dry erase markers (assorted colors)
Sports participation fees – Fall Sports start WEDNEsday, September 6!
- $15.00 Free/Reduced Lunch Eligible

Sports fees are per season, maximum of two seasons paid, third season is free (ex. If a student plays Soccer and Girls’ Basketball, she would not have to pay for Volleyball).
Middle school sports participants are required to have a Sports Physical prior to beginning any sport. Physicals are valid for two years. Contact your family doctor for an appointment or call the Healthpoint Clinic on the Evergreen Campus at 206-835-2615. FREE sports physicals for Cascade student athletes may be available (based on eligibility requirements). ONLINE registration required. Registration and physical forms are available on the district’s website and at Cascade’s page. Practice starts Wednesday, September 6.
