🏆 Register Now for Sports Next Year
Make sure your students are ready to play! To join a team, students need to be registered and cleared before the first day of practice. Many sports hold tryouts right away — so don’t wait. Registration is through FinalForms, our online system for athletic paperwork, including physicals. Learn about middle school and high school sports seasons and how to register.
Highline Schools Foundation Awards Scholarships to 33 Students
The Highline Schools Foundation announced that 33 scholarships, totaling $325,750, have been awarded to graduating seniors across Highline Public Schools. Sixteen Scholar Athlete awards will be added in the coming weeks.
🎨 Celebrate Student Creativity at Glacier & MRHS
Families and community members are invited to Glacier Middle School’s 3rd Annual Art Show & Silent Auction on Thursday, May 28, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Enjoy student artwork, connect with the school community and support Glacier students and families. Artwork will be available to purchase, and funds raised will directly benefit Glacier students and their families.
Grab your best New Orleans-inspired outfit for an unforgettable evening of music, art, food, and community at Mount Rainier High School for this year’s Art Fest on Friday, June 5, 5:00-8:00 p.m. This free event supports MRHS music and art students and includes an option to RSVP to reserve a meal.
📅 School Board Meeting Schedule
You are welcome to join the Highline School Board and superintendent at a school board meeting. All school board meetings are held at the Central Office, 15675 Ambaum Boulevard SW in Burien, typically every other Wednesday, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. The next meeting will be held on June 3. All regular board business meetings, work sessions and public hearings are public, and everyone is encouraged to attend.
