Pre-order Next Week’s Meals

We will begin serving food for the school year starting Wednesday, September 9. Due to Distance Learning, meals will be provided differently than last spring and summer. Families must pre-order school meals using our online pre-order system. You can choose daily meals or the weekly meal kit, not both.

View our menus.

Pre-order online for the week of September 9

Daily meals have the ability to be ordered daily or for the entire week. Please complete your order by 6:30 a.m. on the day of pickup for either meal distribution.

Meals are free to all kids ages 1-18. Children do not have to be enrolled in Highline Public Schools to participate in the meal program. Please pre-order so we can accommodate requests and be efficient with service. By submitting your pre-order, you confirm these meals are for children 1 to 18.

Daily meals and weekly kits will provide both breakfast and lunch.

Daily meals will offer a vegetarian or meat option each day. Hot entrees will occasionally be available through daily meal service and indicated with an asterisk (*) on the menu. Weekly meal kits will contain frozen items, whole fruit, whole produce and ½ gallon milk. We will provide cooking instructions for frozen items in the kit and on website. Please see our Nutrition Services website for more information.

Option 1: Weekly Meal Kits

Meal kits must be preordered.

Weekly Meal Kits can be picked up on Mondays at four locations – with three distribution times throughout the day. Locations and times are below.

Please note, that if the school week has fewer than five school days, meal kits will reflect that. For example, a 3-day kit will be available on the first day of school, Wednesday, September 9.

If you collect a weekly kit, you will not be able to collect a daily meal for that week. You must choose one or the other but can switch each week.

Option 2 Daily Meal Pickups

Daily pickups must be preordered.

Daily pickups will occur at select bus stops and elementary school locations throughout the district. Families may select any meal site location to pick up a meal.

For safety reasons, please do not drive to the bus stops to pick up meals. There is not sufficient space for families to pull off the road at the bus stop. If you plan to drive to get your meal, please plan to pick up from an elementary school site. Elementary school sites will be the last stop of each bus route.

Check out a list of all the locations and times on our district website.
