Creating an Education System where everyone belongs

Please join us on September 25 at 7:00 p.m. to share your thoughts and participate in a community conversation on how to create a better future for special education in Washington state.

Good attendance will help children do well in high school, college and at work. Students can suffer academically if they miss 10% of the school. That's just one day every two weeks.

Starting in fall 2019, we are taking a new approach to middle school math to ensure students have the foundational skills necessary to be successful in algebra and beyond. We are introducing a new math curriculum, and the course sequence will be different than before.

Highline children can eat free breakfast, lunch, and snacks during the summer through the federally funded Simplified Summer Food Program. The program provides funding for several of our schools to serve children living in South King County.
